As an affiliating member of The Association of Junior Leagues International, the Junior League of Prince George’s County offers so much more than local volunteering opportunities! Our members create real change by advancing social activism-focused projects that directly benefit the communities of Prince George’s County, Maryland.

By giving women the tools to lead, educating them about their communities’ needs, and helping them put their unique talents to work, the Junior League of Prince George’s County is making a big impact in Prince George’s County.

 

Community Partnerships

The Junior League of Prince George’s County (JLPGC) Strategic Plan places emphasis on community and service. We believe a strong sense of community is essential to human well-being. Additionally, We believe it is through service that we build core relationships with others. Service is the lens through which we decide how we will invest our time and resources. JLPGC is a proud Healthy People 2030 Champion. This partnership is a part of the United States Department of Health and Human Services’ vision, which is to improve health and well-being on the local, state, and tribal levels.
